Identifying Fakes

So how do you know if a incoming attack is real of fake? You cant ever be sure until the troops land. So we must assume all incoming attacks are real. Dont get caught with your pants down because you didnt take an attack seriously.

Okay so whenever you’re attacked you will get an attack report. Looking at these reports can give you important information as to whether it's a fake or not. When someone syncs up their castles attacking you, if their sync times are really fast like 6 seconds, then 9-10 times it's a fake. It takes longer than 6 seconds to send all your troops and/or add silver.

These reports can also tell you which castle the silver is coming from. If you see a certain average of say 15-25 seconds between castle syncs but then on 1 or more, they slow down, then if you wanted to counter strike them, you would aim to cap that castle so that if he lands on you, you cap one of his silver carrying castles and his troops and silver now disappear, he now doesn't have enough to cap your castle even if he won the battle.

🚫 Usually, if you have a single attack from a single castle, it is either a fake or farming accident.

🚫 If you see multiple attacks from different castles landing at the same time, it is likely not fakes.

🚫 Many attacks coming at multiple castles from a single castle, all launched around the same time, indicate a mask. Usually, only one or two will be real, the rest are fakes to hide the true target. Watch for those that land together from different castles.

🚫 A player with more than 20 castles will need to send silver from multiple sources. Attacks coming closely timed from these players is likely to be silver.

🚫 Check the travel times, you can tell what the slowest troop type is by how long they march to reach your castle. Stupid enemies use single spears that give away when they are fakes.

🚫 If travel times indicate Ox Carts were sent, that is likely carrying Silver.
